Chris Archer

Education

A resident of Boulder, Colorado since 1979, Chris graduated from the University of Colorado in 1988. He attended law Cornell Law School and graduated with honors in 1991. After law school, Chris joined Morrison & Foerster, a large international law firm, where he learned how to keep his business clients out of expensive legal disputes. Because the cost of hiring a large law firm was prohibitive to many of the businesses and clients that that Chris wanted to represent, in 1994, Chris moved his law practice to Boulder and laid the foundation for what would become Archer Law Offices, P.C.

Law Practice

Chris' practice is a general one, with a focus on domestic and international business transactions and corporate counseling, including intellectual property protection, U.S. and international trademark law, copyright law, corporate law, and business law. Many clients are in the outdoor recreation, publishing, and mortgage banking industries. Chris has performed a wide variety of legal services for clients including:

Chris is a member of the American Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, and Boulder Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the Colorado Bar, the United States District Court, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Chris has received Martindale Hubbell's highest peer review rating for a lawyer in both competence and ethics: AV. Martindale-Hubbell describes the AV rating as follows: an "AV Peer Review Rating shows that a lawyer has reached the height of professional excellence. He or she has usually practiced law for many years, and is recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity."
